Becoming Wilder
Somatic therapy session

1:1 Somatic Therapy with me, Tiia

Helping you heal your relationship with food, body, and self through safety, not control.

You've done the work. You've read the books, tracked your habits, tried to think your way to peace.

But no matter how much you understand, your body still... reacts. You freeze. You binge. You shut down. You restrict. You explode. You promise yourself "next time will be different," but it keeps looping. That's because the problem isn't discipline... it's dysregulation. Your body isn't betraying you, it's just protecting you in the only way it knows how.

This is where somatic therapy changes everything.

In our work together, we don't just talk about your patterns, we meet them directly, in your body, with compassion and curiosity.

You'll learn to understand your nervous system, release stored stress, and create safety where it's never existed before. You'll reconnect with food, movement, and emotion from a place of trust, not control.

How We'll Work Together

Each session is 50 minutes, held online, combining:

Somatic therapy & nervous system regulation

Gentle body-based awareness and grounding techniques to help your system feel safe again.

Parts work (Internal Family Systems style)

Learning to listen to the voices within you- the controller, the comforter, the critic and build partnership instead of war.

EMDR-style bilateral processing

Rhythmic tapping or movement to help your brain and body safely reprocess stuck emotions and memories.

Optional nutritional guidance for regulation

Exploring how food can support calm, stability, and connection (without rules or restriction).

My Hope for You

My hope is that through our work together, you'll come to see food not as the enemy, but as one of the many ways your body has tried to keep you safe.

That you'll learn to trust your body again, not because someone told you to, but because you've built the internal safety that makes trust possible.

That you'll stop seeing yourself as broken and start seeing yourself as someone who survived and who's ready to do more than just survive.

You deserve to feel at home in your body. Not someday. Not when you're "fixed." Now. Exactly as you are.
